As part of a year-long service project to raise money for the Seeing Eye School for guide dogs, kindergarteners at Chesterbrook Academy in Royersford hosted an art show and auction at Main Street Café on Saturday, December 8. Student art work was framed and displayed, and parents, family and friends bid on the children’s pieces. All money raised from this event was donated to The Seeing Eye, the oldest existing blind guide dog school in the world whose mission is to enhance the independence, dignity and self-confidence of blind people through the use of guide dogs.
