JAGUARS AAU ADDS BOYS HOOPS IN SPRING 2013
COLLEGEVILLE, PA - The highly successful Jaguars AAU organization (http://www.jagsbball.com/) has announced the creation of a Boys Basketball Program for grades 4th-8th beginning Spring of 2013. Historically, the Jaguars Girls Program has produced some of the finest girl’s basketball players in the state; look no further than the current SpringFord High School Girls Basketball Team which is ranked #1 in Pennsylvania.
“Our goal is to become the premiere AAU organization for Youth Basketball in the Western Montgomery and Northern Chester County areas”, said John Novarina, President of Jaguars AAU Basketball. “The addition of a Jags Boys Program is a natural step for the organization and a wonderful opportunity to showcase the great talent pool in this region.”
The Jaguars Boys Teams held multiple try-outs in February. Over 40 young men from school districts throughout the area have been selected to teams that begin practice this month at The Hill School in Pottstown. Teams will participate in Mid-Atlantic Regional tournaments from the end of March through July.
Greg Alessandroni, the Director of Coaching, commented, “We strive to develop each player's character by teaching the value of teamwork and sportsmanship through the game of basketball.”
The Jaguar’s mission is to become a memorable part of the player's journey by providing a healthy and safe environment where confidence in their athletic abilities can soar; they can hone their basketball skills, while enjoying the camaraderie of their fellow teammates and coaches and the thrill of playing a competitive game of basketball.
