To the driver that stopped to help my son Monday
Monday at approximately 2:00 PM my son was found unconscious behind the wheel after he crashed into a guard rail on Springertown Road, in Upper Providence.
The man who found him called 911 and also called Wegman's to tell them my son would not be arriving at work due to the accident.
I am grateful that you made that phone call, because after not hearing from my son, we started making phone calls looking for him, and someone at Wegman's told us that he had been in a car accident.
We had no idea where the accident ocurred, since he was coming from Birdsboro. We also didn't know how serious the accident was, if he was able to leave on his own, or if he left by ambulance.
So I started making phone calls to hospitals and after calling 3 different hospitals I finally found him at Phoenixville hospital.
I find it extremely unfortunate that the police did not have the human decency to call us. Especially because the registration and insurance is under our name. You would think they would care a little more, but obviously it wasn't in their job description.
Thank you again to the decent human being that took the time to call Wegmans. If it wasn't for him, we'd be filing a missing person's report.

What an incredible story. I am hoping your son is not injured seriously. That was an angel that was there for your son. Sometimes God does that! Lets hope this is a wake up call for UP Police Dept.
