Andy has one the best overall winning records in the NFL....he is a proven commodity...I'm glad he will go somewhere...where he will be truly appreciated...in the mean time...Eagle fans there is always next year or the year after that or the year after that and so on !!!!

Kc has the first pick in the draft. It will not take long before they find out they made a poor choice. Both in the coach and his pick. I have ten dollars he trades it away. He will have an excellant reason. If you put salt and pepper on it you'll be able to swallow it. I only hope they gave him a three year deal.

The only thing Andy Reid has proven is he can't win at this level......or coach, or time manage, or call plays, or draft players, or answer reasonable questions from the media and anything else a HEAD coach is supposed to do in the pro game. He will always just be a good assistant coach. Did anybody ever hear about the Peter principal ?

You can always tell the hair-on-fire dolts who wouldn't recognize a great football coach if they tripped over one.

Yes, Reid had his weaknesses ... like clock management, stubbornness and a perhaps a bit of hubris. But you don't take a team from the outhouse to the NFC Championship in 3 seasons out of sheer luck, and get them there three more times.

Could he have been better? Of course ... But too few "football fans", especially those old enough to remember what Eagles football was like in the late '60s, early '70s and throughout the entire decade of the '90s, would ever call Andy Reid a poor coach.

Certainly, it was time for the Eagles to go in another direction; but Reid will - most likely - be successful in Kansas City.

There is no doubt that Reid is a good coach. He is just not a great head coach.One of his biggest weaknesses beside clock mamagement is not willing to change anything when there were problems. Lets face facts what kept the Eagles in contention was Johnson and his defense. With McNabb we never had a stellar offense. every team knew passing was out. hell even Jerry Rice said ---No great receiver would play with McNabb because he always placed a receiver in career ending positions.hell if you could catch with your fee we may have had something. Andy has great stats and if you are the type that loves what looks good on paper ,well then he is your man. I will admire Andy for somethings and dislike him for others but you have to admit - HE CAN"T WIN THE BIG ONE!

Andy Reid could have taken time off after the death of his Son, Garrett. However, the real problem is that Donavan McNabb, no longer played that well and hiring Michael Vick was his second mistake. I will be watching to see how things play out in KC.

It will be great to see him mismanage every two minute drill and run the ball every single effing time on third and long.

Nobody seems to mention that the Eagles may well have one of the biggest micromanaging owners in the NFL.

I wish Andy the best in Kanas City, he was a great coach for us. I need not make excuses, just look at the stats. I am so sorry he lost his son, He needed time to grieve but didn't take it. I hope you will be appreciated in KC!

As a lifelong Eagles fan, I remember some of the "other" coaches and owners whose records don't even come close to what we've gotten from Lurie + Reid. The last 10 years has been a pleasure to watch them. I apologize for the Eagles fans who can't even count. Thank you , Andy Reid and best wishes to you.

Vick, Juan Castillo as D-co, after hiring Washburn D-line coach,..letting Dawkins walk with no replacement,Out coached/lost as favorite in 4 out of 5 NFC championship games, same mistakes over and over, wasting time outs, no 2 minute offense, "got to do a better job", Red zone offense worst in nfl, constant penalties,worst turnover ratio in nfl by far, "My responsibility"..Worst collection of gutless players who are convinced they are great ever assembled.This garbage pile belongs to Andy Reid. I gotta do a better job,week in and week out.Jimmy Johnson was the backbone of the eagles.when he passed so did the eagles.The win record belongs to Johnson not ( we gotta do abetter job ) Reid.
Kansas won't make the playoffs in the next three years.

My prediction: That candy-apple-red Chiefs apparel is going to be less than flattering on Andy.
