District Introduces Three New Principals
Three administrators joined the district staff before the start of school this week.
Superintendent Dr. David Goodin introduced three new administrators to the board and the community during Monday night's school board meeting.
Rob Moyer, Heather Nuneviller and Elaine Ruppert all accepted positions prior to the beginning of the school year. Several new principals were needed due to a few retirements and the adoption of the house principal system in the middle school grades. Moyer and Nuneviller will be at the 5th and 6th Grade Center, while Ruppert will work at the high school.
Moyer previously worked in the Perkiomen Valley School District. He will be the house principal for this year's sixth graders, moving with them until they finish eighth grade.
Nuneviller comes to Spring-Ford from the Colonial School District, where she was the principal of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. She will be the building principal for the 5th/6th/7th Grade Center, working with Moyer and the other two house principals.
Ruppert begins her first year as an administrator after teaching for the last fourteen years. Ruppert chaired the high school science department and taught AP Biology. She will be the house principal for this year's high school sophomores, staying with them until they graduate.
