Less Than a Week to Register to Vote
October 9 is the last day to register to vote and be eligible to vote in the November 6 elections.
The last day to register to vote to be eligible to vote in the November Presidential elections is looming.
Tuesday, Oct. 9 is the last day to register to vote to qualify for the November elections.
During the 2008 presidential elections, 6 million people didn't vote because they either didn't know how to register or because they missed the voter registration deadline, Patch reported previously. Don't be one of those 6 million this year!
According to the Montgomery County Voter Services website, to register, voters must be 18 before the day of the elections, and have lived in Pennsylvania and in their election district for 30 days before the next general election.
Voter registration application forms can be submitted either in person at the Voter Services office or by mail. However, you are not officially registered to vote until your application has been "filled out, processed and accepted by the Montgomery County’s registration office," according to the Voter Services website.
Applications can be found on the Voter Services website, as well as at many municipal buildings, post offices, liquor stores, etc.
