Good public commitment from newly elected S.C. councilmen. I think our neighboring borough had two members re-elected to their seats and also an interim mayor appointed. It would be interesting to learn their vision for the future.

Sally,
Thank you for the feedback. If you are referring to Royersford, we have covered the selection of the interim mayor in some detail. Here is the story on the night he was selected: http://limerick.patch.com/articles/royersford-borough-council-selects-new-mayor-john-guest

Petak and Shaner were not the only ones who ran... there were 3 democrats and 3 republicans who ran in the past election. Petak and Shaner won a deserving seat. and I am a democrat of spring city. they put a lot into the election. i wish them luck and hope for a better spring city!

jackaroe,
I was also confused by Rofo_Rec's comment; however, we both read it out of context. If I'm not mistaken (correct me if I'm wrong Rofo_Rec), the reference was being made to a comment made by Sally T Jones, who asked to hear from Royersford elected officials, to which Rofo_Rec responded, that they won because they ran unopposed. That's my interpretation.
