Man Falls from Building at 4th and Main

Not clear yet if it was an accidental fall or attempted suicide

 

An unidentified adult male was reported to have fallen or jumped from a building at Fourth and Main streets in Royersford, according to emergency dispatch calls. Emergency crews thus far have delcined to comment.

The man was reportedly on a second-story porch in the apartment building at that intersection in Royersford. It is unclear how the man fell.

The victim was found bleeding from the face on the pavement. His breathing was short and shallow, but he was still alive, according to eyewitness reports.

The call for medical assistance came in at 4:26 p.m. Royersford EMS crews loaded the man into an ambulance and transported him to the Eigth-Grade Center, of Spring-Ford School District, where he was transported via MedEvac helicopter to an unnamed hospital location.

Royersford Fire Police, Royersford Police and Limerick Police departments also reported to the scene for assistance. Reports thus far show that it took several minutes to stabalize the man at the scene, and load him onto the ambulance. He was believed to be alive when leaving via MedEvac around 5:10 p.m.
