More Additions Coming to Manderach Park

The children's playground in Limerick will be getting some more equipment with a $50,000 grant.

The following comes from Frank Otto of The Pottstown Mercury:

LIMERICK — With $50,000 in hand, the township’s parks and recreation committee is looking forward to adding a variety of new equipment to Manderach Memorial Playground [at Limerick Community Park].

“We wanted to get the best bang for our buck and we wanted to give the kids as much of a variety of stuff to play with,” as they could, Steven Krauss, the new committee chairman said Monday.

Manderach Playground had the money available to it after it received a $30,000 grant that the township decided it would match with $20,000, said Daniel Kerr, Limerick’s township manager.
