Betty M. Clemens, 85, of Phoenixville and formerly of Royersford, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA.  She was the widow of Stanley Clemens.

She was born in Royersford to the late Charles H. and Kathryn E. (Johnson) Miller.  After graduating from Royersford High School she went work for the Royersford Water Company before becoming a homemaker and raising her son.  In later years, she was employed at Wendy’s, Royersford, PA.

Betty was a member and sang in the choir at First United Church of Christ.  She also was a member of the Senior Fellowship of Limerick and the Humane Fire Company Ladies’ Auxiliary.

She is survived by her son, David M., husband of Kelly Clemens, of Pottstown and sister, Kathryn Funk, of Royersford.  She was also predeceased by a sister, Dora Fitzcharles, and brothers, Milford and Robert Miller.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM at First United Church of Christ, 367 Washington Street (Fourth Avenue and Washington Street) Royersford, PA.  Calling time is at the Church from 10:00-11:00 AM.  Officiating will be Rev.
