Frances D. (Downes) Peck, age 79, wife of the late James E. Peck, of East Coventry Township, PA, formerly of Parker Ford, PA died Monday evening, December 17, 2012 in the Manatawny Manor Nursing Home, East Coventry, PA.  Born in East Falls Church, VA, she was a daughter of the late Ralph K. and Fannie Belle (Yost) Downes.

She was a graduate of the Spring City High School.  She received her teaching degree from the West Chester State Teachers College.  Mrs. Peck taught kindergarten and first grade in the Owen J. Robert School District for many years.  She was also a member of and in the choir at the Parker Ford Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Peck is survived by one daughter: Nancy L., wife of Wayne Bainbridge, of Parker Ford, PA; two sons: Jay A. Peck, of Elverson, PA; G. Scott, husband of Barbara Peck, of Reading, PA; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Peck was pre-deceased by two sisters and one brother. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Friday afternoon, December 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM.  Burial will be in the Parker Ford Baptist Church Cemetery.  Friends will be received from 7:00 - 8:30PM Thursday evening or from 1:30 - 2:00 PM Friday afternoon at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.  Condolences may be made and the video tribute may be viewed by visiting www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
