About Mike Vereb:
State Representative Mike Vereb is running for a third term in Pennsylvania Legislature, which he was elected to in 2006 after spending seven years as a West Norriton Commissioner.
Vereb graduated from Bisshop Kenrick High School and the Montgomery County Police Academy, and spend time as a police officer and in corporate security.
About Kelly Devine:
Challenger Kelly Devine is a lifelong resident of the 150th Legislative District - she was raised in Upper Providence Township and purchased her first home in Norristown Borough.
Devine began her professional career as a journalist, covering municipal government and finance. She currently is a marketing professional for Comcast.
Mike Vereb on Issues:
Vereb believes that jobs and the economy, crime, property taxes and preventing the tolling of 422 are the most important issues facing this district.
Kelly Devine on Issues:
Devine believes that education, the environment and infrastructure are the top issues in her region.
150th Legislative District History:
Vereb was elected State Representative in 2006, after former Representative Jacqueline Crahalla retired.
Vereb won re-election by 13 points in 2008 and just over 19 points in 2010.
