RECALL: Sugar Free Peanut Butter Fudge

Kilwins Sugar Free Peanut Butter Fudge, sold in Pennsylvania is being recalled.

 

Kilwins has announced that it is recalling all 7 ounce packages of its Sugar Free Peanut Butter Fudge sold between October 1, 2011 and October 5, 2012 because the peanut butter ingredient used to make the product is associated with the Sunland, Inc. peanut butter recall.

Sunland, Inc. has recalled their peanut butter and nut butters for potential contamination with Salmonella.

The recalled Kilwins sugar free peanut butter fudge were sold at Kilwins retail locations in Pennsylvania, as well as Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.

No illnesses have been reported to date regarding this product.

Consumers are urged to return this product for a full refund. Consumers can contact Jean Hammond at Kilwins at 231-758-3903 from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
