Pparents and guardians who are buying flame resistant or flame retardant products are usually unaware that the chemicals in those garments and many other products are harmful, especially to pregnant women and children. They cause disease and disrupt hormones. Take those Pj's back, and don't buy them again, anywhere. The harm these chemicals do far outweighs any benefit. Fleece clothing, car seats, carpets, and a variety of bedding and mattresses can also contain flame retardants. Our government, under the guise of protecting children and our health, is again in bed with the chemical companies, promoting one more way to poison the most vulnerable, our children, and those who are unaware. If you would like to know more, here is a September 2011 article from Yale University: http://e360.yale.edu/feature/pbdes_are_flame_retardants_safe_growing_evidence_says_no/2446/
