A Friday morning fire at a Spring City retail and residential building was arson, authorities said Tuesday.
The Pottstown Mercury reports that Spring City Police Chief Anthony Kuklinski said the fire in an apartment above Rex Tax Service at the Riverside Drive complex had been ruled an arson. Kuklinski reportedly suffered smoke inhalation while rescuing two residents from the building.
Anyone with information on the fire is asked to call the Spring City Police Department at 610-948-3456.
