Rofo Bank Robber Identified, Citizens Aid Investigation

Royersford Police are close to capturing the robber in yesterday's National Penn Bank incident.

The following was submitted by Royersford Police Chief Kevin Schurr:

The robber [of Thursday's National Penn Bank robbery] has been positively identified by police as Justin Ryan McKain, white male, 34 years-old, with an unknown current address.

He was recently released, earlier this week, from Montgomery County Prison and was tracked to a motel in the King of Prussia area where he spent two nights. He checked out of the motel the evening before the robbery.

Royersford police obtained a warrant for his arrest Thursday night. McKain is being charged with robbery, theft, terroristic threats, receiving stolen property and recklessly endangering another person.

The Royersford Police would like to thank the assistance they received from the many citizens that helped with the identification of Mr. McKain. Anyone with any information on the current whereabouts of Mr. McKain is asked to immediately contact the police.
