Rofo Man Faced Moderate Injuries After Accident

A Royersford flagman was hit by a car in Edgmont last week.

EDGMONT – A 20-year-old West Chester man was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance when he slammed his Acura into a flagman on Providence Road Tuesday morning, state police said.

Nicholaus Anthony DeSimone, is facing charges of DUI, drug possession and related offenses after he allegedly struck a Royersford man who was flagging traffic in an active work zone in the 3100 block of Providence Road.

The flagman was transported to Paoli Hospital with moderate injuries, state police said.
