The Pottstown Mercury reports that a Royersford man was arrested for allegedly attempting to break into a Trappe home early Sunday morning.

According to repots, Ezra Jarious Bearden, 30, was apprehended by police around 1:00am after he reportedly broke a window of a home on West 7th Avenue. 

Bearden was charged with burglary, public drunkeness, and several other offenses. His bail was set at $50,000.

Bearden posted a bond on Sunday evening and is free pending a hearing.
