Royersford Woman Assaults Mom Over Jell-O Shots: Police

Gwen House, of Main Street, also allegedly had four pill bottles in her bra at the time of the arrest.

A Royersford woman faces multiple charges, including simple assault, after she allegedly guzzled all the Jell-O shots at her mother’s birthday party and then topped it off by beating the birthday girl, according to Royersford Borough Police.

A 15-year-old resident on the 800 block of Main Street called police around 8:45 p.m. June 8 after Gwen House, 33, also a resident of the home, struck her mother in the upper torso and hit and grabbed the woman "forcefully" in the neck area, police said. The assault happened after House's mother confronted her about the excessive boozing, according to police.

House was then hit in the jaw before members of the party were able to break up the fight. Police did not say who struck House.
