Fourteen agencies will be represented at the St. James United Church of Christ's Alternative Gift Market on Dec. 4. The event takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 321 S. Limerick Rd. in Limerick.
The agencies which will provide guests with shopping opportunities that provide charitable donations in honor of friends, family members and associates. At the AGM, holilday gifts that help make the world a better place for all can be purchased.
"Each charity does its part to contribute to a safer and more just world," Koenig said in the release. "Wherever your passion for mission lies, you'll find a place here to put it into action. Lunch will be available through which your purchases will support our church's participation in a week of volunteer work through Appalachian Service Project."
