Two RECALLS: Ricotta and Peanut Butter Crackers

Whole Foods is recalling ricotta salata and Late July Snacks is recalling Organic Mini Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers.

 

Whole Foods Recalls Ricotta Salata

Whole Food Market has announced that it is recalling ricotta salata sold in five Pennsylvania stores, that came from supplier Forever Cheese Inc. Forever Cheese has recalled this cheese product because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

According to the Food and Drug Administration, "The recalled Ricotta Salata Frescolina brand cheese was cut into wedges, packaged in clear plastic wrap and sold with a Whole Foods Market scale label using PLU 293427.  All “sell by” dates through Oct. 2 are affected. Fourteen illnesses have been reported which may be associated with the Frescolina recall."

Late July Mini Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers

Late July Snacks LLC is recalling the Organic Mini Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers in connection with the Sunland Peanut Butter recall, for possible contamination of Salmonella.

Late July Snacks says there have been no illnesses reported in relation to their Organic Mini Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers.
