Two Spring-Ford Lacrosse Players Moving on to College Teams

Both seniors will play Division I lacrosse.

The Pottstown Mercury reports today that two Spring-Ford senior lacrosse players plan to continue their lacrosse careers at Division I colleges. 

Paul Major and Ian Hare signed their National Letters of Intent on Tuesday evening at the high school, flanked by their families and by coaches Kevin Donnelly and Kevin Czapor. 

Major, who plans to study engineering, signed with the University of Delaware. He has earned three varsity letters in lacrosse, and was the PAC-10 Most Valuable Player and the Mercury's Player of the Year last season.

Hare, a defenseman, signed with Towson University in Maryland and plans to study physical therapy. He also plays football for Spring-Ford and has earned three football varsity letters in addition to his two lacrosse varsity letters. He was named PAC-10 lacrosse Defenseman of the Year last year as well as first team all-conference.
