Undercover Sting Nets Suspected Drug Dealer

A Royersford man was charged with selling cocaine, other drugs to detectives.

Frank Otto of the Times Herald reported today that Royersford resident William Scott, 53, was arrested on August 17, 2012 after he allegedly sold drugs to undercover Montgomery County detectives.

A criminal complaint filed by Montgomery County detectives says Scott was believed to be a supplier of drugs who was getting his supply from Philadelphia.

Detectives reportedly bought Percocet and cocaine from Scott on three separate occasions in July and August. One sale included a full ounce of cocaine.

Scott reportedly confessed to selling drugs after he was arrested.

Scott will go before Magistrate District Judge Walter Gadzicki on Monday for a preliminary hearing.
