1. Sunday, 6 p.m. – Veterans Park, Limerick. Summer Concert in the Park: Bring a chair and enjoy some free outdoor musical performances at the park. In case of rain, concerts will be held inside the township building.
3. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – The Stoogeum, Ambler. Stoogeum Open House: The museum boasting a huge collection of nearly 100,000 pieces of Three Stooges memorabilia has open houses about once a month. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
4. Saturday, 8 p.m. – Chaplin’s the Music Café, Spring City. Steve & Steve with Special Guest Don Dannemann: Steve and Steve will treat fans of 60s tunes to an awesome show featuring this dynamic duo, who has played together for over 40 years, and special guest Don Dannemann of The Cyrkle. $15-$17 Buy tickets.
5. Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. – Berks County Wine Trail, Morgantown. Christmas in August: Take a self-guided tour of the wineries along the wine trail, sampling wines along the way, and getting a head-start on your Christmas shopping. In addition to fabulous local wines, stock up on artisan pottery, and other handcrafted items. The event and wine pairings are free, no reservations or tickets required. However, be aware several wineries do charge a nominal fee for tasting wines from their main menus, which are typically refundable if you purchase a bottle of wine.
