The Philadelphia Flower show is always a great photo op.  This year is no different with the theme, “Hawaii, Islands of Aloha”.  It’s a great way to experience the tropics and be able to make it back home by the end of the day.

I’ve never been to Hawaii, so I can’t confirm the authenticity of the displays.   My youngest son has been there though, and this year’s Flower Show was an awful lot like the way he described the island paradise to us.  Very GREEN. 

As always, you have the spring bulb displays and a seemingly endless supply of cut roses.  But this year there was a lot dense green foliage, highlighted with an abundance of beautiful orchids.  And I have to admit, the orchids have always been my favorites.

So if your looking for someplace to get some great pictures, or you just want to get yourself ready for springtime, head on down to the 2012 Philadelphia International Flower show…
