MEDICARE 2013

Prescription Drug Coverage & Health Plans

Are you unhappy with your Medicare health plan?
Would you like to evaluate your current plan and see what else is available in Chester  County?

The Annual Election Period (AEP) for 2012 starts October 15th and ends December 7th
with new coverage effective January 1, 2013.
The AEP is the time each year Medicare beneficiaries have the option of:

  • Switching their Part D plan (prescription drug plan)

  • Joining a Part D plan

  • Disenrolling from Part D

  • Switching to another Medicare Advantage plan

  • Switching to original Medicare with or without a separate Medicare Part D Private Drug Plan

Take the opportunity to review your Medicare-approved health and drug plan options.   Sign up for a counseling session and meet with an APPRISE volunteer who will assist you in making an informed decision. Please bring with you your Medicare Card, Insurance card(s) and list of medication and dosages.

Please call 484-933-4955 to register.

Apprise is a free health insurance
counseling program designed to help Pennsylvanians age 60 and over and those
with disabilities with health insurance concerns.  Apprise counselors are specially trained
volunteers who can answer your questions about Medicare and provide you with
objective, easy-to-understand information about health insurance.  Apprise services are free and all information
