From the open musical strands of this year’s production of “RED” and the music from “Red October” the 125 member band presented a strong performance.  In their traditional blue, gold and white uniforms with the color guard in this years red/black costume they made sure that all present knew that they are looking to continue to present high quality performances for which they have become known.

For their efforts the band received a score of 87.30 for first place, along with special awards for high percussion and color guard in the Group 4 class with is for bands with 75 or more musicians.  A strong second place performance was presented by the developing Avon Grove HS of West Grove, PA who receiving a 86.55 and third place was the host, Wilson HS, with a score of 83.85.  To date the score received by the Golden Ram Marching Band is the highest score received this season by any TOB Group 4 Band out of 17 bands representing NJ, PA, DE, MD and WV.

The band this coming week will be working to put the rest of their 2012 Production on the field so that they can keep working to perform the show at the highest level possible.  Then weekly will be adding to the production to make it more interesting and unique in its own way.  Next Friday night the band will be back out supporting the Spring-Ford football team, as they play at home against Boyertown.  Saturday night the band will be at the TOB show sponsored by Daniel Boone HS at Exeter HS.  The band hopes to see lots of friends and family out to support them this weekend as they continue to show everyone just what “Spring-Ford” 2012 is all about.
