Saturday while the football team got some time to relax after their game Friday the Spring-Ford Marching Band, was loading on to busses at 9 AM to Philadelphia for rehearsal at the Philadelphia Convention Center.  The band was selected to be part of the opening for the Advance Security Worldwide (ASIS) International Convention held in Philadelphia, September 10th thru 13th.  This international meeting brings together security professionals from around the world saw over 20,000 people into Philadelphia.  The members of the band who had to be at the high school at 5 AM on Monday returned to school then about 11:45 AM to complete their school day.

You would think that with a 5 AM start of the day the student would be heading home after school but at 3:30 until 6:30 was practice to add and improve their show as they prepare for Saturday night September 15th their first Marching Band show at Chichester HS.
