Spring-Ford Marching Rams Keep On Moving

Friday evening,October 25th, found the Golden Ram Marching Band performing at OJ Roberts showing their growing and improving 2013 production before getting to watch the SF football team bring home another win to add to their collection for this fall.

Saturday evening, October 26th, found the SF Marching Band in Doylestown, PA  at a Cavalcade of Bands show sponsored by CB West HS.  The band entered the evening with new additions to their production while working to improve their presentation skills.  The band to date has an undefeated season running in the first five shows of the year with one being the Tournament of Bands Eastern Regional Champions.  Saturday was the largest show to date with six other bands in their class and a total of 14 bands from SE PA and Delaware. 

The SF Marching Rams came home with a score of 93.650 and First Place out of seven in their class and the highest score awarded to any band in any class in the show.  This is also the highest score to date awarded any band in the Cavalcade of Bands this year.  The bands in the show in the Yankee Division of the show received scores of:

This Friday the band will be performing at the Friday night football game at which time the Sr. members will be honored and cheering on the football team as their season moves forward to what looks like another district and state playoff run.  Saturday night the Golden Rams will be in another Cavalcade of Bands event at Conestoga High School and Sunday the band returns to Hershey, PA for the Tournament of Bands Grand Championships.  They are the Defending TOB Champions of last year’s championship and have held the title from 2006-2008 and 2010-2012.  The Golden Rams will be performing Sunday evening in Hershey against 10 other bands from PA, NJ, DE and MD.  For information about either of these upcoming events you can contact Mr. Seth Jones/Director of Bands at Spring-Ford by email at sjone@spring-ford.net.
