Thanksgiving is an opportunity for us to pause from the busyness of life and remember all that we have. It is a time to think about the many blessings of life and give thanks for each and every one of them. But as we remember and give thanks for what we have, let us also stop to remember what others might not have. Many people, both in our own communities and around the world, face daily struggles, hardships, and uncertainties. How can we help them?
SHAREJOY Ministries is a program dedicated to helping the hurting and needy. This year, they have teamed up with contacts in Uganda, Africa, to build fresh water wells in two different villages that currently have no fresh water. In order to raise the money for these wells, SHAREJOY Ministries has formed the SHAREJOY Run, a 5K “run for the cause” on November 30, 2013. Will you consider running in the SHAREJOY Run and being a part of the cause this holiday season? For just $12 and a few hours on a Saturday morning, you can have a part in helping to impact lives.
