Prom Dress Shopping with SNAP

SNAP's prom dress boutique brought out moms (and dads!) and daughters looking for that perfect dress.

Quite a few shoppers were browsing the racks on Saturday afternoon during SNAP's (Students Need an Alternate Party) Prom Dress Boutique.

Dresses of all colors and sizes were available for just $20 each. All the dresses are like new and have been donated to SNAP.

"We're still getting new dresses," said SNAP chairperson Lori Blackburn. "There will still be a lot here for the next sale day."

This was the third weekend for the dress sale. There's one more day, March 16, where students can come and shop to their heart's content.

The boutique will be at Spring-Ford High School on the 16th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Students from any district are welcome.

When you fill out a registration slip at the event, you'll be entered to win a makeup session, a free updo, or a hair product gift basket from Salon Evolve in Limerick or a free manicure from Providence Spa & Nails in Providence Town Center. Rebecca's Designs and Tailoring in Mont Clare is also offering a discount on alterations for girls who buy their dresses during the boutique.
