Royersford Community Day Organizers Seek Participants

The third-annual event, scheduled for Sept. 7, is expected to bring out thousands.

Royersford’s Third Annual Community Day will be held on Sept. 7 between Third and Sixth Avenues on Main Street in the borough, and the Royersford Business Association (RBA) is looking for participants.

The event organizers are seeking street performers, musicians, crafters and vendors, local businesses and classic car and motorcycles.

“With over 4000 attendees, this is the perfect time to show off your talents, business or wheels,” said event organizer Meredith Styer.

The annual event was created in 2011 when local business owners and the RBA decided to expand the sidewalk sales of years past. With only eight weeks to plan, 3,000 residents showed up and 100 cars were entered into the car show.
