Royersford Woman Shows Off Awkward Grade School Photo on Popular TV Show

Erica Fetterolf was flown to LA to the Ellen DeGeneres Show after she posted her fourth grade photo on Facebook.

Most people have an awkward photo or two from childhood, but how many can say it earned them two flights to Los Angeles and a chance to shine on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Royersford resident Erica Fetterolf can.

After posting her fourth grade photo on Facebook at the request of her daughter and getting a lot of “likes”, Fetterolf submitted it to the “Bad Paid-For Photos” on the show.

“Which way were you looking?” DeGeneres  asked, after unveiling the photo and taking a second to soak it in.  The audience laughed.

The photo was chosen by producers and Fetterolf, who had surgery to correct her crossed-eyes years after the picture was taken, set off to Los Angeles to be featured in the show, according to the Pottstown Mercury.
