SNAP Dancing with the Stars: Meet the Teams Part 2!

Two more Dancing with the Stars teams are featured today!

Here are two more of the teams going for the trophy during Spring-Ford SNAP's annual "Dancing with the Stars" contest!

Our next set of teams are Brooke Brings the Bling and The Sizzling Senora and a Fiery Frenchie.

Brooke Brings the Bling hails from Brooke Elementary School. They'll be dancing to "Gangnam Style/Single Ladies", choreographed by Kelly Stento. They are sponsored by Three Peas in a Pod.

The Sizzling Senora and a Fiery Frenchie are two language teachers, Rachael Munoz and Jaclyn Brown. They'll be dancing to "No la pegue a la negra", choreographed by Stephen Jackson.

Spring-Ford SNAP (Students Need an Alternate Party) is getting ready to host its annual "Dancing with the Stars" contest in a few weeks.

The contest will be at the high school on March 23 at 4 and 7 p.m.

Voting is already open on the SNAP website. A donation gets you a vote for your favorite team—one vote per dollar pledged—and the team that raises the most money gets a special trophy!

Teams are made up of Spring-Ford staff, parents, administrators, school board members and community members.

The "Dancing with the Stars" event, according to one of last year's participants, raises about half of the money for the After-Prom party.

Thank you so much for featuring all our teams for the Dancing with the Stars event. Without all the hard of all the dance teams the event would not be a success! One correction to the post above - the Dancing with the Stars event actually raises the majority of the funds for SNAP - which makes all the hard work of the dance teams that much more appreciated for keeping the kids of our community safe! Thanks! Janice Johnson Dancing with the Stars - Co-chair
