ATA 5K/1Mile Fun Run September 29, 2013

ATA Martial Arts of Royersford hosted their First Annual ATA 5K/1Mile Fun Run to 'Chop Childhood Cancer!'

All proceeds of this event are going to CHOP in memory of Julia Grace Eveland, an 8 year old student at Brooke Elementary who passed away earlier this month to childhood cancer.

One of ATA Martial Arts of Royersford missions is to be more involved in the Community.  They have  always been an advocate for Childhood Cancer Awareness, and their Fall-time projects and events are always centered toward raising money for this great cause.

This day was a success with a combined 377 runners/walkers!  The donation being made to CHOP will be for over $2000.00!

There were over 25 vendors at the event including, The Malvern School (Lewis Rd), Kelli-Ann Armstrong with Thirty-One Gifts, Diane Ma with Designs by Di Di, Barb Tanner with Avon, Becky Schaeffer with Phoenix Chiropractic, Chance Schwartz with Celtic Iron Fitness, Ronnie Fitzgerald with Mary Kay, Hand and Stone, Happy Busy Bee, Gymboree, GNC, PremiER, Oragami Owl, Maggie Bickel with Silpada Designs, Pride N Joy Hair Salon featuring Locks of Love, To Love a Canine, Kate Hudson with Faces by Kate, Cake Art by Amy (who gave each finisher a celebratory cupcake!), a Rainbow Loom Designer, and Alex's Lemonade Stand!

It was an amazing day celebrating a very special little girl and raising much needed funding and awareness for this devastating disease.

Thank you to all of the participants, sponsors, and vendors.  This day was a success!!
