Parents of Spring-Ford Area High School (SFAHS) students are invited to learn more about student life at the school on Sept. 18.
The event, which runs funs from 7 - 9 p.m., will allow parents to follow their child's schedule; attendees are asked to report to the first-period class of the child upon arrival.
"Research has shown that students are more invested in their education if they see their parents actively involved in it, too," said SFAHS Principal Patrick Nugent. "The earlier in the year that we all start making our children's' education a priority, the greater the reward.
Various high school clubs and organizations will set up in the community center, allowing parents to learn more about the school's many extra-curricular groups available.
