Peanut Bar And Grill Holds Ribbon Cutting in Royersford

The spot will celebrate the opening all weekend with food drink specials, giveaways and entertainment.

Members of the Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce joined owners Dwayne and Donna Norris for the grand opening of the Peanut Bar and Grill in Royersford on Thursday, and will celebrate through the weekend with grand opening events.

The new bar, which had a “soft opening” up in an unoccupied space at 301 North Lewis Road on Aug. 26, has “something for everyone,” according to the Dwayne Norris.

The menu is eclectic, including unique dishes such as corn fritters, cheese steak supreme fries, slippery chicken pot pie, salads, sandwiches, burger and more—including “The Goober” burger, a hamburger with creamy peanut butter and a dollop of mayo.

Dwayne and Donna Norris currently own the Peanut Gallery Tavern in Norristown, and were looking to open more dining-oriented shop, though there is still a full bar.

“We have a tavern, we always wanted a restaurant, too,” said Donna Norris.  “This is a little bit of both.”
