TGIF, right? If you are looking for a way to start the weekend off right, Lucky Lab Tavern, located at 312 N. Lewis Road, in Royersford, has you covered.
The popular pub will host a Troeg's Tap Takeover from 4 to 11 p.m. Friday night.
"Troeg's Brewing Company will be taking over several taps here at the Lucky Lab," said the restaurant's website. "We will also have a firkin and food specials!"
What's a firkin? Middle Dutch for "fourth" or quarter of a barrel, the cask used to store the beer while it is fermenting, usually taking is flavor from the materials of the container itself. According to Google, it amounts to about 40.9148 liters.
