Sunscreen, Scooters Recalled

Scooters have a fault electrical contact; there is microbial contamination in sunscreen, companies say.

Children's and Baby Sunscreen Recalled for Microbial Contamination

W.S. Badger Co. Inc. announced a recall of its 4-ounce SPF 30 baby sunscreen lotion and 4-ounce SPF 30 kids sunscreen lotion due to a microbial contamination. According to the recall alert from the Food and Drug Administration, "The products were tested and found to be contaminated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida parapsilosis and Acremonium fungi."

Sunscreens were sold in the US at major retailers as well as independent food co-ops and pharmacies.

Scooters Recalled for Faulty Electrical Contact

Afikim Electric Vehicles has announced a recall of their Breeze C Scooters, which "may become unresponsive during operation due to an electrical contact which may fault due to extensive wear, which potentially could result in the driver not being able to stop the scooter during operation except by turning off the ignition key," according to the FDA recall alert.

Breeze C three and four wheel scooters are part of the recall. Serial numbers included in the recall can be found here.

The scooters were sold in 17 states, including Pennsylvania. The majority of the scooters were sold in California.
