Customers Bank donates $100,000 to Children's Home of Reading

Wyomissing, PA,  (Sep 25, 2013) – Customers Bank is donating $100,000 to support the Children’s Home of Reading and its commitment to caring for the needs of children and families in crisis and preparing them for success in life.

The contribution, which will be allotted over the next five years, was announced by Richard Ehst, President and Chief Operating Officer at Customers Bank and a long-time advocate on small business, job creation and educational opportunities for children and young people

“By supporting organizations such as the Children’s Home, which does so much to uplift children and families that are faced with serious challenges, we hope to contribute to a stronger community and business environment in the long-term,” said Ehst. We believe it is our responsibility to support small business and job creation. We also want the children at the Home to know that people do care. We always try to give these kids something to look forward to.”
