May 10th -PA Photo Pursuits Capturing Motion Class in Limerick.

In this class we will cover how to choose the appropriate shutter speed to capture any type of motion-both freezing it and slowing it down to show motion and create special effects. We’ll discuss how to capture sports action-such as baseball, football and cycling. We will also discuss how to photograph waterfalls to create that soft, milky flow. And while we’re at it, we’ll also touch on how to use long exposures to capture fireworks and other cool “light painted” subjects. You’ll also gain a greater understanding of how shutter speed, aperture and ISO work together to create photographic exposure. This class is intended to prepare you for several action-related Photo Treks coming up this summer – baseball at the Reading Phillies, pro cycle racing at the Velodrome, waterfall photography in the Pocono mountains, and more. So, don’t miss this very informative workshop! Bring your cameras, as we will have an opportunity to put these principles into practice. No special gear needed.
