New Year's ReVOLutions are made at Corefit

One of the very wonderful instructors at Corefit, Erin Lutz, took some time over the holiday to help remind you what the New Year can bring for your health and body. Here are her thoughts and challenges to you!

The New Year is the prime time to set goals and resolutions for lots of things we all say we want to change in our lives-particularly your efforts to get healthier. I bet if you are honest with yourself you've had the best of intentions in January but somehow life takes hold and well…that January determination gets put on the shelf. Have you ever made any of the following resolutions:This year I'll lose that baby weight. This year I'm going to do something good for myself.This year I'm going to run that 5k.This year I'm going to eat more veggies (or more healthfully in general).Or how bout this one--this year I'm going to believe in myself and treat myself with kindness. 

Many people give up quickly on their resolve to get fit and healthy because the journey is too hard, too time consuming, insert excuses here. But at Corefit there is a family of folks that will help you enjoy those workouts and enjoy pushing yourself and will believe in you on those days when you just don't feel like you can push any harder. And the real magic happens when you allow yourself to open up and be inspired by the other members who show up to change their lives and their outlook. 

This is a place where everyone is welcome and I challenge you to stop in-try something new! Try a class--there are lots to choose from! It's time to stop with the excuses and just walk through the door.
