There are so many tools out there for success.... and given the right program you can be handed all of the tools you need to succeed and yet still fail because it requires us to use the tools we are given.

You might be “lucky” enough to work from the coziness of your own home.  With luck there’s always a price to pay….the price in this situation comes in the form of a refrigerator standing in all of it’s glory 6 feet away from my home office.

Before my journey started at CoreFit with the Lose to Win family I struggled with emotion eating and was the definition of a “Closet eater”.  If that term is new to you, let me break it down for you.  One who only eats by themselves when no one else is watching.  I would pick at food like a bird when I was out with friends then come home and open the flood gates!  Well all has changed since the day I stepped into 21 South Limerick Road in Royersford, PA also known as CoreFit!  

My journey started 16 weeks ago and I have lost 74 pounds so far.  When I describe this place to people I NEVER call it a gym.  I always struggle for the words to use to truly express what CoreFit and the lose to win program is.  Sometimes I compare it to “The Biggest Loser” tv show but honestly it doesn’t come close!!  The lose to win program is a program that you can do in a “real life” setting…not a perfect camp away from the real world for a TV show.

So, how has the lose to win program helped me?  Picture this…I have the “car” aka my body but they gave me the key!  Sometimes in life you just need that 1 missing piece to succeed.  Even though a key to a car is so small it is SO important.  What I was truly missing was the nutrition when it came to all of my other attempts at weight loss.  I always thought I was eating healthy and I “knew it all” because it has been a lifelong struggle.  Did you know eating 3 apples can do the same damage as eating a candy bar?  Shocked me too!  With Joymarie’s experience in weight loss nutrition counseling she has given me part of the key to start this car and get it moving in the right direction.

Besides the intense workout that will never include a treadmill and the nutrition program that will put you in control, there is a full staff of trainers and members that help you achieve your goals each and everyday!  This support system is truly the best “team” I have ever been a part of.  Everyone has the same goal of weight loss and a healthy lifestyle.  We’re always pushing each other to continue the success.  Me personally, I’m very competitive.  I have set goals to achieve them.  Every member has pushed me harder.  Harder…to find the best “healthy” recipe out there, harder to lift the extra rep, harder to put down the extra snack.  Without this support system, the “key” is simply incomplete.   

Even though the Lose to Win program helps you map out the key for you.  You have to understand you’re still the owner of the car.  If you have the key and don’t use it your car will never move.  It’s in your hands and ready to be turned.  Liz, Carl, Joymarie and Stacey are all there to help you with any and all questions but they are not putting the food in your mouth or moving your feet.  You are the one that still needs to “want” to do this.  It’s so rewarding for me finding new low carb, high protein recipes that are yummy!  Not all are winners but when you find one you want to share it with the world!  My injuries from football are a constant struggle with my body but every single exercise can be modified and still gives you an AMAZING workout.  In the end you will find yourself doing the things you couldn’t do day 1.  You will find out that the extra weight was a big part of the extra pain.     

It’s a mind, body and sole transformation….You will never call Corefit a gym and you will never call your nutrition plan a diet because both come together as the “key” to your brand new SEXY car!  Drive away with happiness in a brand new car/body and you will never turn back by joining the Lose to Win family and all of it’s glory!
