Hunter Prompts Police Response at Intermediate School 

The 70-year-old Spring City man was hunting legally when he was reported to school officials on Thursday, police said. 

Head-On Crash Seriously Injures Pope John Paul II Student 

Senior Maddie Maurer is said to be in stable condition at a Reading hospital. A prayer service will be held for her at the school on Monday, prior to classes. The crash closed Swamp Pike in Limerick for much of the afternoon and evening on Friday.

Woman Fined For Accosting Crossing Guard 

The January incident near Spring City Elementary School took place as children were being guided across the street. 

Spring City Considers Development Initiative

Spring City Councilman Gene Sweeney weighed in with a comment in response to this story, noting that Spring City has "over thirty businesses between the bridge and my house on Washington Street. That’s not too bad for a town of 3000."
