Senior Maddie Maurer is said to be in stable condition at a Reading hospital. A prayer service will be held for her at the school on Monday, prior to classes. The crash closed Swamp Pike in Limerick for much of the afternoon and evening on Friday.

Spring City Considers Development Initiative

Spring City Councilman Gene Sweeney weighed in with a comment in response to this story, noting that Spring City has "over thirty businesses between the bridge and my house on Washington Street. That’s not too bad for a town of 3000."
