Ursinus College's Center for Science and the Common Good Presents Global Policy Director Matt Wenham
The Center for Science and the Common Good at Ursinus College hosts a global policy director Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. in Pfahler Auditorium. This free event is open to the public.
Dr. Matt Wenham is an Associate Director with the Institute on Science for Global Policy. Dr. Wenham received his bachelor’s and honors degrees in biochemistry from the University of Adelaide, South Australia and his Ph.D. from the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, University of Oxford, United Kingdom, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. As a postdoctoral research fellow at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Wenham’s research examined the interaction of protein toxins produced by pathogenic E. coli strains with human cells.
The Institute on Science for Global Policy (ISGP), in Tuscon, Ariz., and Washington, D.C., offers an ongoing series of dialogues and critical debates examining the role of science and technology in advancing domestic and international policy decisions.

The Center for Science and the Common Good at Ursinus College provides opportunities for all Ursinus students to consider the impact of science on the common good and to learn to better communicate scientific research to the public. It is funded by a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
