Spring City Music and Market Festival

The Seventh Annual Music and Market Festival returns to Main Street in Spring City on Saturday, October 5. From 10AM until 4PM the event feature food, vendors and live music. 


Kicking off the music will be acoustic guitarist Craig Moore. Spring City’s own Alligators Blues Band will be playing their upbeat rockin’ blues starting at 11:00. At noon, local punk band Welter will take stage. Spring City musician Ted the Fiddler will play a set at 1:00. Finishing up the festival will be two local rock bands: 13 Mourar and Electrified. Jimmy Valerio will be the festival’s emcee.


This year’s festival will have a special feature for both musicians and music fans - Chaplin’s, the Music Cafe, will feature three jam opportunities. A bluegrass jam from 10:00-12:00, an open mic from 12:00-3:00, and an open jam from 3:00-4:00.

In addition to all of the great music, local businesses, vendors, crafters and food vendors will be offering their services and products. A number of community organizations will also be attending to share their information with the public. 


Liberty Steam Fire Company emergency crew members will be on hand to display their apparatus and speak with the public.
