Student Exhibition at Ursinus College's Berman Museum of Art

The annual Student Exhibition at the Philip and Muriel Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College opens April 16, showcasing the work of art students and majors in media including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, installations, mixed media and photography. The exhibition runs through May 16.

The artist reception on April 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. is open to the public. Artists’ recognition awards will be announced in the Main Gallery by Director of the Philip and Muriel Berman Museum of Art Charles Stainback. A celebration will follow.

Student artists represented include Jenny Phillips, Mara Berzins, Christa Oestreich, Kyle Peterson, Ryan Keihart, Soo-Jung Kim, Eric Stumpo, Zhehui Zhu, Hemi Park, Emily Immel, Randi Hladik, Zachary Scheib, Monica Reuman, Gabbi Perrottet, Bryanna Bonner and Anthony Alvarez. Artists will be recognized for excellence in specific media with juried awards including cash and book prizes, Director’s and Popular Choice recognition and purchase prizes offered by the Myrin Library. Students will receive other special, endowed prizes.

The Museum will be closed April 19 through 21, and will reopen April 22.

The Philip and Muriel Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The Museum is closed Mondays and college holidays. Admission is free. The Museum is one of two on campus museums in Pennsylvania accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. It is accessible to visitors with disabilities.
