The kids are back to school and soon the leaves will begin changing colors- that means fall is almost upon us in Limerick Township. With the new season comes our largest community event of the year. Limerick Community Day will be held again this year on Saturday, September 22 from 11:00am-3:00pm at Limerick Community Park. Join us for this award-winning event.
New this year to Limerick Community Day is a farmers market and craft fair with local vendors selling food, jewelry and other great items. Entertainment for the day includes police K9, dance demonstrations, karate demonstrations, carnival games, NorthLand and so much more! Don’t forget to stop by our food vendors and enjoy a wide variety of foods from local businesses. Be sure to check out the business expo that is sponsored by the Spring – Ford Chamber. There will be over 50 local businesses with displays, information and giveaways.
Also remember to support our local charities by bringing a non-perishable food donation for Project Outreach. This charity runs a food pantry in the Royersford area for families in need. The National Bone Marrow Registry will also be at Community Day signing up volunteers to join the national registry, and Alex’s Lemonade will be selling lemonade to raise money to fight childhood cancer. Please join us in supporting all of our local charities, food vendors, businesses, and organizations!
