Royersford To Hold 2nd Annual Community Day

The borough will hold its second annual Community Day on September 8.

Press release sent by the Royersford Business Association.

On September 8th, 2012 from 10am-3pm the Borough of Royersford and surrounding Spring-Ford community are coming together in celebration of all things local. This event, put on by the Royersford Business Association, is an open to ALL.

Royersford’s revitalization, which has slowed due to the economy, is still moving forward. Improvements made to Main Street and beyond have instilled a renewed desire in the people to celebrate their commitment to the town, its local community members, and businesses.

People of all ages will find something to please at Community Day. It will be uplifting and inspiring to see how the local businesses, artisans and community members have banded together to pull of this amazing event!

Expect to see over 120 local business and artisan vendors, classic cars parked along Main Street, live music on two stages, moon bounce, free activities for the kids, Pet Show, R.C. Car Club demonstrations, police, EMT and fire departments, local food vendors with an outdoor dining area and more! The borough has allocated plenty of parking and Main Street will be open to pedestrians only from 3rd to 6th Avenue.

FREE Parking is Available at:

  • Grace Lutheran Church
  • Summer Street Borough Parking lot
  • 300 block Borough Parking Lot behind the Main Street businesses.
  • Church of the Nazarene 445 Washington Street

Look for the flourescent parking signs.
