Scenes from a Romney White House

The Manchurian Candidate was not forcibly brainwashed. Did he gladly sold his soul for $30,000,000 in silver?

The Diplomat from China was waved through the back entrance to the White House, just like a hundred times before.

Since President Romney took office things have been great for the Chinese. The invasion of Taiwan took place and the country was securely absorbed with the mainland. Over 250,000 Taiwanese died fighting the invasion, but the island is slated to become a resort for the new Mainland’s middle class.

As was pre-arranged with the White House, only some shrieking media stories and a stern statement from the Romney administration was about the depth of American resistance.

Today’s visit from the Chinese diplomat was to tell President Romney that he was needed to help the Chinese diffuse the sympathetic rioting in Tibet.  The United States will allow the Chinese government to extradite the Dalai Lama on charges that he is inciting the Tibetan riots. The Dalai Lama spoke up after receiving a humanitarian award in front of the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. He was still in the city. The Chinese are insisting that U.S. marshals pick up the outspoken leader immediately.

Inside the Oval Office, President Romney offered soft drinks to The Diplomat as they sat down.

The Diplomat spoke, “Mr. President, we understand that you are reticent to release the Dalai Lama to us.  But as we have spoken before, you are in no position to argue with us here.  All of that massive fortune you have in our country will become part of the Chinese Government if you continue to resist our diplomatic efforts.”

The President has heard this speech a number of times before, but was finally willing to put it on the line. “No, you cannot have him.  This man has committed no crime.  He is enjoying our protections of the First Amendment when he speaks.”

“But he has committed a crime against the Chinese people and needs to be brought to justice.”

“We will use our military to help you put down the resistance in Tibet, but you cannot have the Dalai Lama.”

“A kind offer Mr. President, but no.  This is symbolic as much as anything else.  We intend to crush the TIbetian people’s spirit by trial in China.”

“Then we will use our military to stand up to you.”

“With what monies?  You collect no taxes and you are so far in debt to us that we do not need to worry about you raising an army.”

“I will go to the American People and rally them against this.”

“Mr. President, you may do that, but we already have a number of people who will set into a motion of your impeachment process.  We will release witness statements outlining your business dealings in our country as being a violation of laws in your country.  It does not matter if you actually performed the bribes or not, we do not care.  If you think that we care about your copyright laws or intellectual property rights, what makes you think that we would not drag your name through the mud on the charges in front of your own people?”

The diplomat relaxed on the sofa, “Really, you were compromised before even one vote was cast for you.  We have tapes of you that make the 47% tape look like elementary school.  We will take you instead of the Dalai Lama.  And we will get him at the end of the day anyway.  Vice President Ryan has already made that deal for us.”

“So give us the Dalai Lama and you and your family can enjoy the wealth and sunlight of living in The White House. Your wife so enjoyed plowing over the garden the Obama Family planted.  I think she likes it here.”

President Romney sat back thinking that Ann told him not to go to work today.

The Dalai Lama arrived in China the next morning.

(Note: So no one gets in trouble, this is an opinionated fictional work based on the writer’s vision of what a Romney White House would look like.)

You are welcome - anytime... Actually I don't attack everything GOP. Ask Mike Vereb or Paul Drucker if I am as partisan as you say. How is what I wrote here really any different from the scenarios from the RW upon the rise of President Obama? How's the Birther/Muslim Narrative going for you? For Example - In 2008 - there was a run on ammo because the NRA put fear in their folks. Did this President do anything against the 2nd Amendment? As for the answer to your question - I will do it out of courtesy since I highly doubt that I can convince you. All the borrowing is generated on the back of the Bush Jr Wars. When did we have bond drives to pay for those wars? President Obama has clearly stated he would raise taxes on the rich (calling a $250k AGI per year rich) to trim this deficit. He won't raise it on those making less - he won't raise on the first $250k either - but that isn't good enough for the GOP... (Romney has taken the Norquist No Tax Pledge - which is directly at adds with an oath to the Constitution.)

Here's an interesting article by Peggy Noonan that speaks to fuzzy leadership of President Obama: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204530504578079232194509700.html?mod=WSJ_hp_mostpop_read What I find fascinating is that all this whispering in D.C. about the gap in Leadership never seemed to see the light of day in the media before this.

Joe, Obama, with direct report Attorney General Eric Holder, in the "Fast and Furious" program, agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives pressured honest firearm dealers to make sales to known straw purchasers, with the intention of allowing those firearms to be trafficked to Mexican drug cartels. The guns would only be traced after they were recovered by authorities, often after being used in violent crimes. And of course, one of those crimes was the murder of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry. Obama sent Hillary Clinton to the United Nations to move FORWARD with their plan to confiscate our guns. The US joined 152 other countries in support of the Arms Trade Treaty Resolution, which establishes the dates for the 2012 UN conference intended to attack American sovereignty by stripping Americans of the right to keep and bear arms. Working groups of anti-gun countries will begin scripting language for the conference this year, creating a blueprint for other countries when they meet at the full conference. Stop blaming Bush already, Joe. He's not running against Obama's 4-yr record of failure. Obama has pledged to raise taxes on one million small business owners, the middle class. Now there is an oath.

Ss ding la, Joe. Wo i Romney. Your candidate outsourced close to 2 trillion of our debt to China. A business owner or CEO with a responsibility to shareholders and equity owners (what, Joe, what is his responsibility - to give jobs to people or to survive and provide a return to owners at risk?) facing the second highest corporate tax rate in the world here, when forced to make tough survival decisions, chooses to outsource some labor to China - he is the bad guy? Your Manchurian evildoer? Then I suppose you would depose the State of California for giving the new Bay Bridge contract to China: http://www.npr.org/2011/09/16/140515737/california-turns-to-china-for-new-bay-bridge Facing US bully labor union rates, California had NO CHOICE, amigo. Sometimes CEOs have no choice. But you probably believe business exists to provide jobs. I do speak Mandarin. You should too, Joe. After all, China is keeping you afloat right now under your "economic patriot" President.

What, Mike Vereb is part of the GOP? Funny that I did not see him last year at the Montgomery County GOP reception on election night. I know it was a rough night, but I grew up looking those that I go to battle with in the eyes shaking their hand win lose or draw. Anyway, back to your post, Sing along with me Joe, I know you know the words. "TTTToo Much Time On My Hands, and its taken away my sanity."
